Chris Smith - Director

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Health at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and also his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He previously served as the BSM Director for University of Texas at the El Paso campus.

He and his wife, Jonya, have four children.

My desire is to follow the command of the Great Commission and go make disciples.  God has called us to live as lights in a dark world.  I think the greatest tragedy in the church has been the lack of living as Jesus lived and not letting people around us see his example.  I also believe there is a void in many churches of true life on life discipleship as Christ has called us to do.  I believe throughout my calling into ministry God has given me a passion to pour into people through discipleship relationships so that they would catch the vision and do likewise.
